At heart of our philosophy is the belief that every child is a precious gift from God, blessed with unique talents, abilities, and potential. Our role is to nurture these gifts so each student can grow into a confident, resilient and capable learners who strive to do their best. We honour children as active participants in their learning, encouraging them to make choices, express their voice and discover the joy of learning in ways that are meaningful to them.

We celebrate the diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences that each child brings to our school. These are the foundations for learning and growth, and we use them as a starting point to inspire curiosity, imagination and discovery. Our play-based, child-focused approach allows children to learn in ways that are both engaging and developmentally appropriate with opportunities to explore, create, and follow their passions. In this way, children build confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning that will stay with them well beyond their years at FJCS.

Families are the heart of our community. We recognise the vital role parents play as their child’s first and most important teachers, and we value the strong partnership that continues throughout a child’s education. Together, families and educators work hand in hand, building open, trusting, and respectful relationships that ensure every child feels supported, safe and welcomed.

Our hope is that every child who leaves FJCS does so with a sense of wonder, a passion for knowledge, and the motivation to reach their goals. More importantly, we want our students to know that they never walk alone and that Jesus is their constant companion as they navigate life, guiding them with love, strength, and purpose.
