School Advisory Council
Francis Jordan Catholic School is supported by the Catholic School Advisory Council. Members of the Catholic School Advisory Council are elected from the school and parish community at the Annual General Meeting held each year in November. All members of the Catholic School Advisory Council are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct.
The Catholic School Advisory Council collaborates with the Principal and staff to foster a faith-based education within a school environment that is welcoming, safe and supportive for students and families. Together with the Principal, the Catholic School Advisory Council contributes to the ongoing development of the school and its students, including financial administration related to the school’s operations.
The Catholic School Advisory Council consists of the Principal, Parish Priest (ex officio member), and elected representatives from the school community who convene throughout the year as scheduled in the council’s calendar.
