Enrolment Process

Applications are open for enrolments from Pre-Kindy to Year Six.

To apply for admission to Francis Jordan Catholic School please download the ‘Application for Admission’ package. An application form needs to be completed for each child seeking a place at the school.

Please forward the completed application package to the school with copies of the following required documents:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Australian Immunisations Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement
  3. Baptism Certificate (if applicable)
  4. Australian Citizenship Certificate (if born outside Australia)
  5. Passport (if born outside Australia)
  6. Visa (if born outside Australia)
  7. Any current restraining orders or custody orders (if applicable)
  8. Copies of latest school report (if applicable)

Enrolment interviews are conducted by the Principal and all children seeking a place at Francis Jordan Catholic School are asked to attend the interview with their parents or guardians. Following this interview an ‘Offer of Enrolment’ may be made to your child. If this offer is accepted by you, a non-refundable payment of $100 per child will be required. This payment will then be credited to your first fee statement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Download the ‘Application for Admission’ package from the ‘Enrolment’ tab on our website or visit our friendly staff in the Administration Office. Submit the completed application with all required documentation to the Administration Office, by post, in person or by email.

When an application is received, an acknowledgement will be emailed to parents and guardians. If a position is available in the required year level, families will be invited to an interview.

Enrolment interviews are conducted by the Principal and all children seeking a place at Francis Jordan Catholic School are asked to attend the interview with their parents or guardians. Interviews are part of the enrolment process and are not an indication that an application has been successful.

Following this interview an ‘Offer of Enrolment’ may be made for your child. Enrolments are prioritised in accordance with CEWA’s Enrolment Priorities. Click here to view this policy. If this offer is accepted by you, a non-refundable payment of $100 per child will be required. This payment will then be credited to your first fee statement. Signature(s) on the above forms are taken as acceptance of school policy, regulations, payment of fees and parental involvement.

The school accepts applications at any time throughout the year.

School fees are set with guidance from Catholic Education Western Australia and are endorsed by our School Advisory Council. The current School Fee Schedule can be found under the ‘Parent Information’ tab on our website.

If a year group has no current places available and an application form is submitted, the application is added to the waitlist for the relevant year group. Waitlisted applications are prioritised in accordance with CEWA’s Enrolment Priorities. Click here to view this policy. If a place becomes available and can be offered, you will be contacted by phone.

Applications remain on the waitlist until a vacancy arises.

Yes. This is applied to tuition fees only.

Please contact our friendly office on 9404 2400 to discuss booking a tour. We offer school tours after your enrolment interview with our principal.

A great way to come and see Francis Jordan is to come along to one of our FREE playgroup sessions. This is held on Monday, during the school terms from 8.30am -10am. Ages 0-4. It is held in the pre-kindy and kindergarten play space and classrooms.

Yes. Enrolments are prioritised in accordance with CEWA’s Enrolment Priorities. Click here to view this policy. If there is a vacancy with no Catholic students on the waitlist, then applicants from other Christian denominations and non-Catholics will be considered for an interview.
